Dear Argentinean wine freaks, (Argentinsk vin freak)
(sounds much better than saying ´members', doesn't it?)
I
mean, think again: You could become a member of a wide range of
associations especially if you have an affinity for the many different
wines found on this planet, but when we speak Argentiean wines, and
further more, our own wine club import varieties, there amigo, you
speak a whole new language from the renamed zones of Valle de Uco,
Lujan de Cuyo, Maipu, Cruz de Piedra. Yeah, this may not say anything
to you, so let me try and explain it differently. Grab the first scent
of the morning dew across the Andes at a height of over 1500 mtrs, look
over your shoulder to your right and a Condor may
be showing off its wingspan 4 meters above you! Look up, and the
exuberant beauty of the mountains will take your breath away, and you
will start to wonder what you are doing sitting in an office. Breathe
deeply again and the same scented dew spills out its deep, bitter sweet
perfume from the stocks. Look to the left and suddenly there they are,
at the end of January, blooming with this incredible violet colour, the
yeast stuck to the skin promising a natural fermentation. Touch them
and softly they will reveal to your eyes slowly but surely, why and how
mother nature has chosen this magnificent spot of the planet to bring
to you the finest, most refined, brutal, complex, soft, tender, spicy,
scented and incredibly overlooked and underestimated grape:Malbec.
My
friends: (and i mean this!) Get a grip and face it. We are about to
make history, and you are going to be a part of it. The beauty of this
blooming friend of mine (and yours:)) with her violet dress and very
healthy but delicate skin, needs special care and attention. Let’s call
it the love factor. Protection not only from the very demanding weather
conditions, but constant monitoring against all sort of threats. This
grape, which has played until now in endless second position through
time, is finally making a triumphant return from the hands of daring
winemakers from the home territory, Mendoza.
In
her "teenage" years her appeal is straight and simple. You will glimpse
her approaching your glass with her violet, almost black color. She is
dressed up for success. Pour a little of her and she will stick to your
glass, her lithe legs long and everlasting, their curvaceous artistic
forms undulating like the hills of the Andes. Her body is consistent,
you just can't avoid giving her that look of: 'Hei, babe', I'm getting
closer because you just look so different. Like the landscaped
territory of Argentina
You get curious, you need to get closer
to this pretty girl who just arrived at the party. Think again, we are
on the right track, she is young, dressed up to kill and you are
possessed with an inner desire to get to know her. She passes by you,
and her scent is strongly peculiar, and strangely mysterious. What is
that intoxicating perfume she is wearing. You move in closer and yet
closer again. Her scent is spicy , black pepper, berries, cherries, and
hints of the purest dark chocolate flood your nostrils. This is
wonderful and she is captivating you. You are now doubly curious. She
looks good, and her unique perfume is something to talk about. Now you
just want to taste her. What will your taste buds dicover about her.
You long for a kiss from the prettiest girl at the party. She is
looking at you, talking to you and she has planted in you the seed of
curoisity ..'Houston, we have a problem'. Thats why EU wine producers
are running to purchase land in my country. If you cant win, buy them.
The
first kiss is intense, it invades your mouth with a slightly brutal yet
harmonic strength. Remember your first kiss? You didn't quite know how
to handle it? The alcohol is present, and the tannins bite you, a
little bitter and pleasantly acidic. The kiss forcefully consumes your
thirsty mouth at high speed (no foreplay here) and leaves you slightly
parched, the aftermath heavy and rounded. And you just bloody know it.
If this girl already kisses like this then the future looks good.
The
malbec grape has the ability to evolve beautifully. Throughout the
aging process this wine gradually develops into something precious and
I will keep you fully informed about this.
Since this is the
first release I have made about my beloved wine, describing it from my
soul, I feel I need to express a comment about the sex of my
malbecquita. I hope that nobody gets offended here, because of course
my malbequita for me in my soul is a woman, but I do understand that
the malbeck attraction for others might easier be translated into a
male character. So I hope no offence will be taken for my presentation
of the form of my attraction to this wine.
Are we cool?
Any
feedback is highly appreciated.. Let me see your faces around here and
I will share with you all my secrets about this lovely girl...after all
she's in my blood.
Argentinsk vin import. We love what we do. And we do it because we love it. That's the difference

meter over havoverfladen.
i horisonten.
været anden prioritet blandt feinschmeckere verden over – men nu
absolut perfektion.
En smuk kvinde kræver kærlighed
og opmærksomhed. Hendes kjole er violet, huden tynd – men lad dig
ikke narre af hendes sarte ydre. Hun vokser op under barske vejrforhold,
kys lover godt for fremtiden!
